Warner Gabel

Overview
Warner Gabel is an Arizona native and a 1974 graduate of the University of Arizona. Gabel’s initial 5 years were spent in the family business, Building Products Company, a manufacturer of clay pipe products. He was made Sales Manager in 1977. The company was sold in 1979 at which time Gabel transitioned into investment real estate brokerage.

Pre-Gabel Investments
In 1979, Gabel was hired by Davidson, Graham & Myers, a Phoenix commercial brokerage and shopping center development company. During his 5 years at DG&M, he focused on the sale of retail shopping centers and representing financial institutions in the acquisition and sale of bank branches as well as the structuring of sale/leaseback transactions.

Gabel Investments, Inc.
Warner established Gabel Investments, Inc. in 1984 and opened an office in Phoenix and in 1990, relocated his office to Scottsdale.
Gabel has purchased and sold all categories of commercial real estate, including a 3 year contractual arrangement with Merabank to market the sale of a large portfolio of R.E.O. Upon completing that assignment Gabel sold several properties for the R.T.C. Gabel Investments has considerable experience in representing financial institutions both as a consultant and a broker. The firm completed approximately 50 bank branch sale/leasebacks as well as the structuring and sale of several publicly traded company operations centers and manufacturing facilities.

Deal History
Since 1992, Gabel, acting as Managing Member, has structured and completed 16 partnerships. Those entities acquired commercial land, residential lot land banking transactions for publicly traded home builders, developed 1.1 million sq ft of retail, and joint ventured 4 projects with qualified commercial developers. All of those projects were sold profitably.

Philanthropy
Warner is a Life Member and former Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Boys and Girls Club of Metropolitan Phoenix, where he has served for over 35 years. The Warner A. Gabel Branch at 1330 N 15th St in Phoenix was named after Warner's father, a past President of the organization. Warner is also a Life Member of The Thunderbirds, where he has been a member for 33 years. The Thunderbirds, a non-profit agency, host the Waste Management Phoenix Open at the TPC of Scottsdale each year. Gabel has served on the Arizona Advisory Board of US Bank, the sixth largest bank in the US.

Gus Gabel

Overview
Gus is an Arizona native and a 2013 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Arizona State University. Gus is a licensed Commercial Real Estate Salesman in the State of Arizona and is the Director of Acquisitions and Marketing for Gabel Investments, Inc. He is responsible for actively seeking raw land for purchasing as well as marketing the 40 acre site currently owned at the NWC of Loop 202 and Higley. (See Featured Property)

Brokerage
Gus has utilized Warner’s investment brokerage experience to bring back a brokerage division to Gabel Investments, Inc. The most recent sale was a triple net medical office building on the Northeast corner of Dobson and Fry. Gus represented the buyer on the 1031 exchange of this property. Gus is interested in the listing of net, triple net and sale/leaseback commercial property.

Accolades
In high school, Gus was a McDonald's All American Basketball Nominee, First Team Basketball All North East Valley, First Team Basketball All City of Scottsdale, and First Team Basketball Desert Sky All Region and All State honorable mention.

College
He was recruited to play basketball at 10 D-1 colleges. 3 were full scholarship offers and 7 were Ivy League schools. In 2009, he chose to attend Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey. In 2010, Gus returned to Phoenix and finished his studies at ASU.

Philanthropy
Gus has been actively involved with the Gabel Boys and Girls Club of Metro Phoenix. The branch is named after Gus’s Grandfather. He also volunteers with St. Mary's Food Bank.
